Rooms for Hire

At the Perth Subud Centre, we offer rooms of various sizes for hire, with prices ranging from £15-£29/hour. Our hirers include businesses, charities, governmental and non-governmental organisations, community groups and individuals. Hirers run conferences, training, meetings, classes, consultations, corporate interviews, family celebrations and small weddings. They can have one room or exclusive use of all public rooms. A maximum of 40 people can be accommodated in the largest room and 60 in the building.

Upper Hall

40 People Max
Our largest meeting space. Situated on the first floor, it is an impressive, calm and welcoming heart of the Centre. 

Lower Hall

32 People Max
Wheelchair Accessible
Large, tranquil, bright, ground floor meeting hall with substantial window and lovely views of the garden.

The Lounge

10 People Max
Wheelchair Accessible
Ground floor sitting room which provides a cozy comfortable space. Has wheelchair access.

Yellow Room

10 People Max
A smaller meeting room, for up to 10 people, naturally bright and ideal for small groups and one-to-one therapy sessions. A fold-away large round table seats 8 people.

Meeting Room

10 People Max
Medium-sized room for up to 10 people on the first floor with a large window. Carpeted throughout. Ideal as a break-out room in conjunction with the Upper Hall.

Kitchen

Shared
A large, homely country-style open kitchen, available for food prep in conjunction with hiring rooms. Shared with any other users of the centre, or exclusively if hiring all public rooms, 

Upper Hall

Our largest meeting space. Situated on the first floor, it is an impressive, calm and welcoming heart of the Centre. Accessed via a Regency stone staircase, its beautiful, Listed original ornate plaster ceiling dignifies any event. The room has two large windows providing plenty of natural light, and a picturesque view over the lawn towards the South Inch Park and the hills beyond.

Catering Options

Hire with Catering and Service

We offer delicious all-day catering for events, with a buffet lunch, hot snacks, homemade soups, healthy sandwiches, salad and fruit selection, with all-day refreshments. We cater for most dietary needs with friendly, 
welcoming hosting. 

We set up and prepare everything. Also included is tea, coffee and biscuits – we love to look after you. We also look after all the housekeeping and fire precautions for your event. There is much more included in catering than simply the food.

Hire with Self-catering

We are unique in offering the option to self cater. You let yourself into the building, set up the rooms the way you need it, provide your own food, clear and clean up after leaving the centre as you find it including locking up. We provide a set of house rules and fire safety information for your group as well the centre being safe.
